This has been a busy blog week, as I was given 4 blog awards from two writing friends. The Lovely Blog Award and the Reader Appreciation Award come from Melissa Writes, and the Booker Award and the Fabulous Blog Ribbon come from Mirka Muse. Thanks, ladies, for thinking of me.I’m going to pass all four awards to 6 more bloggers below.
Here are the rules for the first two awards:
- Thank the person/people who nominated you and link back to them in your post
- Share 7 things about yourself
- Nominate six to ten blogs you admire
- Contact your chosen bloggers to let them know
7 Things about me, Tina Cho…
1. My favorite color is pink.
2. I grew up in Iowa but not on a farm.
3. I now live on the other side of the world.
4. I love scrapbooking when I have time.
5. I play piano and now teach my two kids.
6. I homeschool my kids currently and write in the afternoons/evenings.
7. Chocolate or Dr. Pepper helps me think clearly while I write. 🙂

Thanks, Tina! I’m with you on the chocolate, but not on the spicy food. I love anything spicy and kimchi is my favorite! My kids love it too! Thanks for passing along blog awards. I feel honored in a fun, summery, sort of way.

Oh my, Laura, you love kimchi?! My husband just made kimchi soup for his supper. (I married a Korean, if you hadn’t figured out yet, and we’re living close to Seoul for a while.)

Our daughter is Korean and we’ve all embraced the wonderful Korean cuisine. We’d love to spend a year in Korea when she gets older.

Tina- your chocolate and Doctor Pepper make you a match to my DS. I get my caffeine & clear thinking from coffee and tea, but his boosters are identical to yours.

Aha! Love that Benjamin! I was introduced to a delicious Korean tea yesterday made from a fruit called a Japanese apricot. It grows here. Never could stand the smell of coffee….

OOH fun…and thank you! I have never done blog awards before and I may have to start! At first I read that as ‘Chocolate Dr. Pepper’ and thought…WHY HAVE I NEVER SEEN SUCH A THING! Then I calmed down and realized they are separate vices:)

I do love Carter’s comment about chocolate and Dr. Pepper, the same thing occurred to me too.

Since I grew up in IA, the cuisine is kind of bland. Sorry to have confused you. It might be a good combo to have a chocolate Dr. Pepper sometime!

How cool that you homeschool! I’ve often considered it, but don’t know if I could handle it. Bravo for you for taking on such an amazingly challenging task!
And I’m with you about scary stuff – I don’t like horror AT ALL.

Ah, writing and illustrating this week isn’t going to happen.
Oh well. That’s life.
I hope you’re able to get some writing done.
Have a great weekend.
I’ll be late getting my writing posted for Susanna’s second prompt.
I’ll be riding off into tomorrow’s sunrise with my hubby on our Harley for the weekend.
